Important Information About Your Water Meter

If you are one of the following properties (*see footnote) you are paying more for your water standing charges as you have a 15mm or 20mm meter and not a standard 13mm meter.

142, 144, 145, 147, 150, 151, 153, 317, 318, 320, 321, 322, 325, 326, 327, 328, 331, 332, 333, 335, 336, 337, 338, 373, 374, 381, 382, 383, 384, 387, 388, 389, 390, 391, 392, 393, 394, 395, 396, 397, 399, 539, 540, 541, 542, 543, 544

When the urbanisation was built they ran out of meters and some properties had larger meters installed and subsequently your standing charges are higher in the region of around 200€ per year. You can check the diameter of your meter at the bottom of your water bill.

Hidraqua are currently in the process of changing all meters from standard to digital and will change them “like for like” i.e. if you have a 15mm meter it will be changed for a 15mm digital meter. We have had a dialog with Hidraqua and are giving you the opportunity to change to a 13mm meter before this happens, meaning your standing charge will reduce.

If you want to go ahead with the change please confirm by sending an email to [email protected] with a copy of your last bill. There will be a cost of 239.21€ which will be charged through your Hidraqua account. We need your response by Friday 16th May 12 noon.
